Kevin Folta, a University of Florida professor, is one of the most well-known and well-respected food-science minds in the nation. The fact that he gets criticized by anti-ag folks is no surprise. Sometimes, the attack on him is so egregious that he needs to respond — something he does with the backing of science, logic, and level-headed detail.
On Friday, Folta made this post on his blog, where he dives into the meaning of trust and why that’s so important to the food discussions of today. The title of it is “Food Babe Vani Hari Attacking Public Scientists Again.”
Below is a screengrab of the first part of the post, but click this link to read the whole thing — it’s well worth it! And if you want even more voices against the Food Babe, check out this post from Lesley Kelly of the High Heels & Canola Fields blog.
