100-year-old Indiana farmer still focused on task at hand

Max Hilligoss may be reaching a milestone birthday, but the 100-year-old Indiana farmer has no plans to slow down.

The farm, which has been in the family’s hands for more than 100 years, has been run by Hilligoss  since the 1970s, growing corn and soybeans, as well as raising livestock. But Hilligoss isn’t planning on retiring anytime soon. As the century-old farmer said: “There’s always something to do.”
