Apple Association joins Farmers for Free Trade in new TV ad
As trade disputes intensify, Farmers for Free Trade has teamed up with the U.S. Apple Association to release a new national TV ad spotlighting the tariff impact on family farmers. The ad features Mark Boyer, part-owner of Ridgetop Orchards, a family-run apple farm in Fishertown, Pennsylvania.
The ad can be seen on cable news channels including Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC as well as online. It is the third ad in a series of Farmers for Free Trade spots that that bring the voices of real farmers across America into the trade debate.
Farmers for Free Trade is a bipartisan, non-profit campaign to rebuild support at the grassroots level for trade policies that benefit American agriculture. The campaign, which is backed by major ag organizations and commodity groups is leading efforts to warn the Administration and lawmakers of the consequences of retaliation on farmers and rural communities.
