‘Be A Light’ highlights the love farmers have for their lifestyle

· May 18, 2020

“In a world full of hate, be a light.” The world as we know it right now is full of the unknown, which can be scary. However, the Millennial Farm Wife gathered a few friends from Facebook and put together a video to be a light for others. The Millennial Farm wife said, “We’re a group of farmers and ranchers. Most of us have never met in person, but we’re coming together here to spread our light. Not living in fear, but rather living our lives, showing what we do every day to feed the world.”

Millennial Farm Wife emphasized we don’t have to be a professional videographer — she made this video on her smartphone — we just have to tell our story. She posted on Facebook, “What I love about this platform is everyone is different. It doesn’t feel like a competition because we all have different stories, and we’re all working towards a common goal. These folks in the video were all different sized platforms, from all over the country, and Canada. We’ve all become friends through here. We’re creating genuine connections, sharing our stories, relating to those who are like-minded, bridging the gap between farmers and consumers, and growing our friendships.”
