Dashcam captures bovine charging at Texas deputy

A Texas police deputy got some exercise in last week when a heifer charged at him during a traffic stop. Caught on dashcam video, the Harris County constable had stopped to investigate a motorist that had hit a cow crossing the road, but instead found himself being chased.

The chase went on around the patrol car, with the bovine even ramming into the car at one point, before going off into a nearby pasture.

Following the incident, Harris County Constable Sherman Eagleman posted on Facebook: “During the regular 8 hour shift we encounter the good, the bad, and the big. We can handle criminals with no problem, but when it comes to livestock….it’s no bull!”
