Farmer says industry needs a Secretary of Agriculture who prays

Hillcrest Farms, a fourth generation dairy near Dearing, Georgia, recently posted this opinion piece on why Trump’s Secretary of Agriculture nominee is farmer approved. While Sonny Perdue received some flack for praying for rain on the steps of the Georgia State Capitol when he was Governor, Mark Rodgers points out all farmers pray and the agricultural industry would be proud to have a Secretary that also prays before every decision he makes. As Rodgers said, “a little prayer never hurt nobody.”
