Michigan police, firefighters rescue horse from frozen pond

· December 18, 2017

Michigan police and firefighters came together last week in a dramatic rescue of a horse that had fallen in a frozen pond. On Wednesday, at approximately 9:30am, Macomb County Sheriff Deputies were called to a residence in Ray Township for a horse that had fallen into an ice covered pond.

At one point during the rescue, a deputy even fell through the ice trying to attach a rope to the horse’s halter. Thankfully neither the horse or deputy were injured in the rescue.
