New Mexico Milkmaid talks about dairy on The Weather Channel

Anytime the agriculture industry gets a positive spotlight from a major news outlet, it is an exciting time. Especially when that spotlight is lead by none other than New Mexico Milkmaid. On the The Weather Channel, she highlights the dairy industry and its commitment to continue to reduce its carbon footprint. It is important that others outside of the agriculture industry hear our story and the work we are doing to continue our sustainable ways. 

On her New Mexico Milkmaid Facebook page, Tara Vander Dussen said, “This morning I had the chance to be on The Weather Channel sharing about dairy’s commitment to reducing our carbon footprint. It was such a cool experience!! This entire week on The Weather Channel is “Growing Solutions”. They are interviewing farmers from across the country about how agriculture is a part of our climate solution!”
