Nordstrom $425 dirty jeans insult to dirty job workers

· April 26, 2017

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but paying $425 for dirty jeans just so you can look like you worked hard is way over the top. In case you haven’t caught the buzz … Nordstrom is now offering the “Barracuda Straight Leg Jeans.”

Mike Rowe, star of Dirty Jobs, says the jeans offer further proof that “our country’s war on work continues to rage in all corners of polite society.”

As Rowe says on his blog, “Finally – a pair of jeans that look like they have been worn by someone with a dirty job…made for people who don’t. And you can have your very own pair for just $425.00.”

Maybe Nordstrom would be in the market to buy some of our retired apparel?
