From his Farmer’s Roundtable and FFA town hall meetings, to his visits to the flooded fields of Arkansas and Iowa cattle country, Secretary Sonny Perdue hasn’t sat still his first three weeks on the job. In addition to his various meetings and travel, Perdue has reformed the school lunch program; opened up several trade opportunities, including getting U.S. beef back in Brazil and China; and reorganized the USDA.
