Texas farmer feels pressure as big city is closing in on the farm

Farmers all over the country are feeling the big city closing in on their farms. No longer are our neighbors miles away, instead concrete and suburbs are becoming the norm in many parts of the country. The same goes for Jeff Jacobs, a third-generation farmer whose whole life has revolved around the farm. 

“Jeff Jacobs is one of the last farmers in Rockwall County. As Dallas encroaches, he farms on. Because it’s worth it,” Texas Farm Bureau says.
