USDA facility in Beltsville breaks out in blaze

· September 6, 2016

The same Beltsville, Maryland, USDA facility that was closed last week due to anonymous threats, caught on fire Tuesday.

A fire official with the Prince George’s County fire and emergency medical services department posted on Twitter that the fire was at building 426 and several vehicles were involved.

The PGFD investigators, as well as the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, are on location.

Last week, anonymous threats sent USDA employees at six offices in five states home. All of the offices, including Beltsville, were re-opened after adding extra security measures.
