"Ready and Waiting" ~ Our tractor and air seeder have been ready to go for quite some time but our fields haven't been quite dry enough. A few light rain showers went through yesterday.Thankfully the sun is shining today and with any luck, we will get to the field soon. The last two years we have started seeding in late April and are usually going by the first week of May. Generally the earlier start the crops get, the better they yield and the chance of frost damage in the fall is lessened.
