Day Two: Tech trending at the Farm Progress Show

Great Plains showcased its new cover crop seeder attachment at the Farm Progress Show. Turbo-Seeder can simultaneously till soil, size residue, and plant cover crops in one pass. That should definitely cut down on expenses for labor, fuel and maintenance!

 

The Climate Corporation, a subsidiary of Monsanto, got to show off its in-field sensor network, including the industry’s first soil nitrate sensor.  The nitrate sensor can help farmers manage the application of nitrogen more efficiently and maximize yield.

 

Massey Ferguson, a global brand of AGCO, displayed its new robust line-up of tractors this week. The no-nonsense 5700 and 6700 Series offer outstanding weight and lift capacity for tractors in the 100 to 130-engine horsepower range.
