Yesterday was #nationaldayofthehorse and I feel so lucky to have grown up with family working with these beautiful creatures that I adore everyday! On top of that knowing that every horse that steps on to the farm are there to help others with West Nile Virus (prevention), Tetanus (prevention & treatment), Anthrax (prevention) & Encephalomyelitis (prevention). ❤️ • • #horse #equine #horsephotography #equinephotography #equinephoto #horsephoto #western #gelding #mare #foal #colt #stud #stallion #photography #canon #horsefarm #farmlife #nebraska #farmliving #agriculture #ruralliving #rural #country #countryliving #agdaily #cowboy_features #agriculture #ag #farming #ranching #ruralliving #rural #nebraska

WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO?! .. Yesterday on Facebook, I saw an extremely disheartening post from a college professor. This professor is committed to teaching the hard science behind biotech to both his students and the public. He has over 20K followers on Facebook, a successful podcast and has regular speaking engagements. All in hopes of giving people a better understanding of the science behind biotech. He is being forced by his University to cease all community outreach from Facebook to podcasts to speaking. He is being forced to stay silent. Why on Earth would he have to do this? You might assume it's because he said something not true or because his teachings are false? NO. It's because the university receives so many anti-GMO people calling and harassing them about the topics he covers. It's because people make allegations against him in hopes of keeping him quiet. He speaks only the truth and shares only the science! Well now 'they' win. Because of their harassment, we will lose a voice of reason and a voice of science from the public conversation about biotech. What kind of world do we live in where just because you don't understand/agree with the SCIENCE, you can demand a different narrative. A narrative that better fits your story and your scare tactics. A narrative that hurts agriculture. And ultimately hurts our progress forward. We all want a more sustainable food supply. Why then would we not want better science and biotech?! And why would we want to silence a Professor who is trying to teach us? Simply put, he is an advocate for the TRUTH!

Holstein Santa Claus parade with “my” adorable steed Banana (on loan from Emily for the day cus my mare is not parade material yet) and some great friends! Although we we’re almost later for the parade it was a great experience! Some little boy pointed at Banana and yelled “Mom it’s a reindeer” which made my day!??❄️?. . . . ? for the pictures I’m in: @michelle_juice @carly.isenberg #santaclaus #santaclausparade #pony #ihadtowalk #reindeer #merrychristmas #greycounty #holsteinsantaclausparade #equestrian #equestrianchristmas #christmasdecorations #christmasparade #minipony #farmlifebestlife #farmer #rurallife #ontag #farm365 #iamcountryside #agriculture #agdaily #canadianag #ag #agvocate #farmhand #farm #farmlife #cdnag #rwpcommunity #agmorethanever
