While covid-19 has my family and the rest of the world fearing the unknown, we as farmers are still doing what needs done every single day to insure we grow the best crop possible to feed America. The corn we grow goes to feed livestock and into ethanol production; two very important things to produce meat, feed and the numerous amazing things ethanol offers! Our farm hasn’t changed since the appearance of the virus, we still get up and work hard to keep our farm sustainable all while trying to remain profitable at the same time! The unknown of the markets and farming for 2020 and beyond are scary, but we can’t control any of it. What we can control are our attitudes, staying positive, grateful and continuing to do the work we love, farming. “The Farmer has to be an optimist or he wouldn’t still be a farmer” — #farm365 #agriculture #johndeere #peterbilt #notillfarming #kscorn #kansasfarm #agnowmorethanever #farmer #farmerswife #ourstory #thankafarmer #farmtotable #agproud #midwestliving #midwestfarmwives #myfarm #agvocate
