This guy is perfectly happy with #socialdistancing . . . For a lot of us, this COVID-19 scare has slowed things down – slowed life down. And that is not my speed. . . I’ve mentioned over the past couple weeks of new adventures and changes we’re diving into soon. Well, our new pace of life has set us back in really starting those things, and to be honest, it’s frustrating. All the anxiety and worry and excitement I have over finally sharing our hard work keeps getting drawn out. . . . But a lesson I should’ve learned in college, (and didn’t), was to have joy where you are now. In this moment, enjoy where you are and who you are and who’s around you. I wanted to hurry up and be done with college, with pharmacy school, and be married. I wished a lot of it away. And now, I find myself doing the exact same thing. Wishing away this time I have to just slowly continue to learn and grow in God’s timing. . . Do any of you find yourself wishing days away? Wishing all of this craziness would be over? Let me know. ? . . “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:12‬

? Although we genuinely sympathize with those students/staff/parents who are saddened (and in some instances, facing great hardships) to see the school year pan out the way it has due to COVID-19; this high school senior (class of 2020) believes he has received the best graduation gift ever: to be able to school from home, or more specifically the semi loaded with hay or a tractor or even a horseback!! . ?? It is no secret that our son has always preferred to be schooled from the ranch, and now he gets his wish?. . ???We commend Townsend Schools staff and administration for ALL they have done to show virtual learning can happen and successfully so…at least for this ranch kid!! We certainly believe, although not ideal for everyone, that many have reaped numerous blessings from this commendable adjustment amidst a world pandemic. THANK YOU! #youguysrock . . . . . #riseabove #makethebestofit #homeschoolwithpublicschool #ruralamerica #classof2020 #ranchraised #virtualclassroom #virtuallearning #thankyouteachers #jyman #farmranchlife #homeschoollife #ranchschool #covid_19 #seniors2020 #apple #heneedsahaircut #thatjawlinetho #multitasking
