Standing in the middle of nowhere, wondering how to begin. The last monthly throwback from 2018, December! Lots of smiles! Happy hay eating cows. The best selfie with Becket the wether “posed” perfect in the background ? I couldn’t believe I caught that at just the right moment… Smiling Sheldon the Ram happy in with his gal pals. And smiling Ruger visiting with the sheep in between watching over the flock of hens along with our Roos. Odin the ram lamb looking more ramy with his horns growing. Jack the farm cat snuck in some farmhouse snoozing on the cozy sheep hide. Can’t blame him, it was definitely the spot to be as we headed into winter. We finished up a quick winter getaway to Bend and was delighted (at that time of the year!) to see snow making for picturesque holiday scenes. Pasture walks revealed cow poo growing grass!! ? …the things that are a very exciting sight to us farmers as we work to improve our soil and pasture. And Ruger spent some time on work restrictions due to an injured paw pad, which meant indoor time. Millie the farmhouse cat wasn’t one bit intimidated by him and Ruger was exceptionally tolerant with her! Check out the video of a funny play time they had! #throwbackthursday #tbt #throwback #swipeleft #december2018 #lotsofsmiles #cows #sheep #ram #farmdog #farmcat #pastureraised #regenerativefarming #jacobsheep #heritagesheep #lgd #workingdog #greatpyrenees #maremmasheepdog #catanddog #rugerandtuckerbrothers #farmlife #countrylife #countryliving #farmher #smallfarm #farmsweetfarm #farmphotography #countrysideandfarmlife #weatheredoakfarm
