The farm stand is open today! Last week for peaches ?, so come and get them while we have them! We also have fresh corn, kale and onions, and our delicious locally roasted coffee! We will be keeping an eye on the air quality, but plan on being open all day.

No, I’m not going on a safari! It’s calving season ? Dad and I use these binoculars to spy on cows who are trying to calve out in the pasture. We try hard to let it happen as naturally as we can and not disrupt nature’s way…unless the cow needs help. No matter what agricultural industry you’re in, I’m sure there’s something like this you do to ensure the best care for your land, plants or animals. I know this because I know the hearts of people in agriculture. This is the “behind the scenes” stuff that I wish ALL consumers knew about food production. The extra care. The sleepless nights. The old pairs of binoculars that ride around in the truck. The watching cows have calves while supper gets cold at home. THIS is life on the farm. And I’m very glad I get to live it every day.
