The Old Man being tormented by a young stallion. – The “Old Man” is probably one of the most famous wild horses I can think of. Anyone who ventures out to see the Onaqui’s always comes back with a picture of him. The photographers love him, and I’m no different. He usually stays to himself but this day I noticed a young stallion befriend him. What caught my attention the most was the encounter between the two. The Old Man was just hanging out doing what he does by himself when the young stallion wondered over to him and started tormenting him. It reminded me of a grumpy grandpa who really has a big heart but is not going to let you know otherwise. And the grandson who knows better and is not going to let him getaway with being grumpy either. They interacted for a while exchanging bites, squeals, the occasional rare, and strikes back and forth. Eventually they drifted off together away from the main herd. – The young and the old have their place in the herd. The Old Man has had his day in the sun and paid his dues. He’s to tired to fight anymore. The young stallion has no idea his prime is even coming. Someday something will click in his mind and he will start fighting for mares and breeding rights for his own band and life will get serious for him. Playing with the Old Man will no longer interest him… The circle of life… – – Onaqui wild horse management area Utah’s west desert . #wildhorses #wildplaces . #farrierlife #horse #equine #horsesofinsta #ranch #ranchlife #western #westernlife #utah #utahphotographer #outwest #westernphotography #cowboy_features #utahlandscape #wildhorsepc

??Hello Autumn! I'm so happy to see you. . ???With all the excitement of the new pup, I didn't get a chance to wish you all HAPPY FALL!!?? So what is it about fall that I love so much?! I think it's all the coziness and how it makes me slow down. You can wrap yourself in a cozy sweater, make some pumpkin spice coffee and enjoy a book. Or the fact that it makes me want to bake and enjoy all those cinnamon smells! And I love THE COLORS!! The browns, the reds, the oranges and occasionally the peach!??? What is it that you love about fall??? . . . #ilovefall #autumn #autumnishere #pumpkins #cozyautumn #autumnvibes? #? #autumn? #? #moodygrams #naturelovetuesday #theartofslowliving #simplethings #slowliving #enjoythelittlethings #livebeautifully #alittlebeautyeveryday #alovefornaturesbest #naturephotography #nature_good #afewofmyfavoritethings #countrysideandfarmlife #country_features #country_stilllife #shared_joy #ig_captures #farmphotography #onthefarm

Did you know that it’s against the law to sell milk containing antibiotics? In fact, milk tested positive in less than 2 out of every 10,000 tankers in 2016. We must follow federal guidelines in order to prevent drug residues in milk. ?? Cows who are undergoing treatment are milked separately from the rest of the herd. Their milk is dumped to make sure no contamination happens. Also— a sample is taken from the bulk tank and tested by the milk truck driver before it is loaded into the tanker and transported to the bottling facility. It’s also tested a few more times after that initial tank test. ? So, guys…I’m going to level with you. This is one of the most misleading labels used in the marketing of fluid milk. The only people making money off of that label is the company selling it, not the farmer. It’s the most ludicrous marketing trick and they get away with it.?You can rest assured that you will never buy milk from the store that contains antibiotics. You can buy the store brand gallon for half the cost. You don’t have to spend extra precious grocery budget money to make sure of it. We really, truly want to save you the extra cash because we are just like you and we know what the cost is to feed a family. ?‍?‍?‍???We would never put into our milk what we wouldn’t want fed to our own family. Our goal is to reduce risk of bacteria, improve the health of our herd and by doing so there’s less of a need for medical care. ? Have no fear! Just the facts. ?

You can take me for a ride on my big green tractor // Okay, she is a little too young for that song but anytime she has a chance to fill the buddy seat with her daddy, she says yes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This time next year, she will be too tall to sit in the tire-well of the combine. Why do kids grow up so quickly? Many days, I wake up and wonder how all of the sudden I am 28, married, running a business and have two {beautiful} children. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It seems like yesterday, I was spending my evenings in a dorm room with friends, playing rock band and eating fast food. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It seems like yesterday, I sprinted down the basketball court, passing the ball to my high school teammate.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It seems like yesterday, I gelled my hair back so tight to my head, because, well that was the in thing to do in middle school. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It seems like yesterday, being the line leader in elementary school was the bees knees. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It seems like yesterday, I sat on my moms lap and was rocked to sleep. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It seems like yesterday…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Excuse me while I go hold my babies and wallow in a puddle of my own tears… K, bye.
