Farm-related Halloween costumes we just can’t get enough of

Published:

Halloween, when all witches, ghouls, and goblins come out to play. Typical families go to the store, buy the most recent character obsession (see Paw Patrol, inflatable dinosaur, Wonder Woman, Minecraft, and Disney princesses). Just like any other family, farm families take this time to get creative and let their kids dress up however they want to for Halloween. Most kids want to be just like dad or mom, a farmer. Many times, parents have to get crafty since most farm-related costumes cannot be found at Party City (though sometimes you can get lucky on places like Amazon with a scarecrow costume or cow or rooster costume).

Here are some of our favorite farm-related Halloween costumes that have a clever and creative do-it-yourself feel:

1. International Tractor

This one-of-a-kind, handmade outfit goes perfectly with that cowboy hat!

2. Rock Star Family

The whole gang is here! Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, and Waylon, I would listen to this rock star family any day!

3.  Corn

This corn stalk perfected the farm Halloween game. Don’t forget about your local seed salesman!

4. International Harvester

“Chug a lug a lugin’ 5 miles an hour
On my International Harvester”

5. Baby cow and big brother as John Deere tractor

Baby’s first Halloween as the cutest cow and his farming big brother.

6. Barn Stroller

Some moms really brainstormed and created the outfit to fit the stroller! That is some next level creativity. The barn/stroller looks nice and warm for that cow.

7. Tractor parade

Mom is still getting used to not every tractor being green. The kids had a mind of their own and went as Case and Ford tractors instead. Cutest farmers we have ever seen.

8. Dairy Farmer Derek with his cows

Little brother wanted to be like big sis and dress up as a cow for Halloween with dad doing his every day job, being a dairy farmer, nothing scary here.

9. Crop duster

This little guy wanted to be just like his dad, a crop duster. The hard work and craftsmanship must have taken a long time.

10. Rodeo Clown

This rodeo clown isn’t scared of anything. Add some face paint to an outfit you probably already have you are ready to go trick or treating.

11. Smokey and the Bandit

This crowd pleaser is sure to win any family costume contest.

We love seeing your creative side! It is not too late to make your favorite farm related costumes. Have fun and be safe tonight as you go trick or treating with all the ghouls, goblins, and Kardashians.
