Pennsylvania crews rush to rescue goats stranded on bridge

Published:

On Wednesday, Pennsylvania Turnpike crews, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation sprung into action to save two goats that got themselves into a tight spot — on a bridge beam beam eight inches wide and about 150 to 200 feet above the ground.

Borrowing a crane from the DOT, both goats were rescued and safely returned home.

Officials say the goats had wandered away from a nearby farm and were stranded there for about 18 hours.
