A GoFundMe account has been set up for a Washington County New York family after a devastating barn fire killed 60 pigs and 40 heifers. According to The Post Star, Dick Burch was loading hay in the northeast corner of the barn around 4 p.m. Sunday when he noticed the fire break out in some bales of hay.
Eleven pigs and 80 dairy cows were able to be rescued before the blaze ripped through Burch’s barns.
Burch, who has owned the farm for 25 years, said he does not have insurance.
