The power of our agricultural community on social media showed in the days following the Las Vegas mass shooting. After receiving free tickets to the Route 91 Harvest Festival from a Central Valley California farmer they met in a casino, a West Virginia couple wanted the man to know they made it out okay.
Kimberly Skidmore turned to Facebook to find “Farmer Joe from California,” who had to catch a flight the next day and didn’t want the tickets to go to waste.
After an overwhelming amount of sharing on social media from the ag community, Skidmore thinks they’ve found “Farmer Joe” and has sent him a message.
