Illinois high schoolers use grain bin as their concert venue

· October 29, 2018

Many of us remember when Farmer Derek Klingenberg invited Bethel College‘s choir to perform “Down to the River to Pray” inside one of his Kansas grain bins.

Now James Southworth brought that to the high school level by inviting Gibault Catholic High School‘s Hawkapellas to sing inside his new 40-foot-diameter bin in Hecker, Illinois. Their renditions of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and “The Star-Spangled Banner” will leave you with goosebumps.
