Car on wrong side of road in UK plows into horseback riders

· March 6, 2017

This is distressing, to say the least.

A car travelling on the right-hand side of the road (which is the wrong side in the UK) collided with two horseback riders in Witcham, England, early Friday morning. One rider remains on the ground throughout the whole video, and according to a report from Cambridge News online, that rider was treated for minor injuries at the hospital. One of the horses, Patsy, was treated by a vet. According to Cambridge News, the car (which can be seen driving off camera) pulled off to the side of the road after the crash.

The horses were part of the Witcham Equestrian Centre, and the group posted an update to its Facebook page. “Patsy had a good night last night and was eagerly looking for treats this morning! Fleur also was fine this morning. Riders are stiff but ok.”

The collision happens just after the 30-second mark in the video.
