I heard this somewhere recently and instantly fell in love with it ? ? Sometimes it’s hard to know what the next “right” step is. In business, in a relationship, in personal goals, and just life in general. There’s so many options, how do you pick just one?! ? It’s SO easy to get overwhelmed in trying to make the exact right decision for whatever it is…but I’ve found that as long as you’re moving forward and making things happen, the order of operations doesn’t matter too much. ? Sitting still gets you no where. Staying on the couch for hours and days on end helps no one. So get up, get out, kick up a little dust, and watch what happens ?? happy Friday, friends!! #TheFarmStory

I just can’t get over those watercolor skies. ? ? It really has been a blessed harvest season around our farm. I’m saying that from my vantage point since I’m not ‘on the front lines’ or in the fields— I just make sure everyone is fed and keep the home gears turning between April and November. So, maybe I’m off base but I honestly cannot remember a busier but more seemingly smooth couple of months. The cover crop is almost all in the ground and what has been planted has sprouted. ? If every year could be like this then farm life would be a breeze—but we all know that no harvest is the same. This is why I constantly remind myself to never get too comfortable and always be thankful. ?
