Yesterday we had some visiting research students from Auburn University come out to my father-in-law’s & Charlie thought it was just the most interesting thing in the world. He walked around & checked it all out, then he plopped down in a comfy spot & just watched them work. He took in every single thing they were doing & saying. He didn’t interrupt them, he just watched. What if we could be more like that? Instead of trying to get our point across or pushing for what we want, why don’t we try to learn from others? I am SO guilty of thinking my way is the best way, so I’m going to take a page out of Charlie’s book & try to watch and listen before I act. ?
