Heidi Crnkovic joins AGDAILY as Associate Editor


Heidi Crnkovic, a longtime agricultural communicator who has experience working with and for farmers and ranchers across the western United States, joins AGDAILY’s editorial team as Associate Editor. She will be instrumental to the day-to-day operations on and across the award-winning digital news outlet’s many social media platforms.

The New Mexico resident ushers in an exciting, creative, and dynamic approach to agricultural content that aligns with our core initiatives and standards. Crnkovic’s background is based in a genuine “boots in the dirt” approach to agricultural marketing, communications, and content development. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural science and a Master of Arts degree in agricultural and extension education.

Crnkovic’s employment history includes serving as director of communications for the Arizona Cattle Growers’ Association, as an extension 4-H agent with New Mexico State University, and as marketing director for New Mexico TriStar Virtual Academy, where she also taught agriculture and supported students with a variety of needs. Additionally, she has worked on a variety of ranches in Montana and owns a livestock operation in New Mexico.

“I’ve long-followed AGDAILY because of its reputation as an honest, timely representative for the agriculture industry,” Crnkovic said. “Through technology, it is integral that we fastidiously bridge gaps in communication and knowledge with resources that are available at our fingertips. She also has given of her time, having volunteered over the years with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, the Arizona National Livestock Show, and New Mexico State University.
