As many of us know, October is breast cancer awareness month. Companies in agriculture are getting involved by showing their support and raising money for the cause. Tire manufacturer, Titan International (maker of Goodyear Farm Tires) pinks up by hosting their fourth annual Ride to a Cure event at Water Works Park on Saturday October 13th. The event is family-friendly and open to the public with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting the John Stoddard Cancer Center, located in Des Moines, Iowa.

This event will be a fun packed day the for all ages. Attendees can enjoy fun fall activities such as hayrides, painting pumpkins, and a car show. In addition, the Iowa Speedway Official Pace car will be on site.

In 2016, Titan International’s Des Moines plant (where Goodyear Farm Tires are produced) went through the process of building pink tractor tires. These tires can be seen on a 1954 Farmall at the event.
