Vote on the Kubota Hometown Proud Community Choice Award

Kubota is celebrating its 50th year anniversary by naming five winners of the annual Kubota Hometown Proud Grant Program. Each winner will receive $100,000 in grant money to refresh and revive local communities through a community project. Now, it’s time for the public to choose one winner who deserves to receive an additional $100,000 as the Community Choice Award Winner.

Kubota is honoring their commitment of “Together We Do More” by calling on the public to help select the Community Choice Award winner at Kubota Hometown Proud. Voting will end on July 25 at 11:59 p.m. Central. Everyone who votes will also be entered in a sweepstake to win a Kubota sub-compact tractor or zero-turn mower. Here’s a look at the five, winning organizations.

Food Bank of Monterey County and 5-Acre Farm and Kids Food Fix, Salinas, California

Rancho Brazos Community Centers’ Douglas Long Outreach Center for Children, Granbury, Texas

New Richmond Area Community Foundation for Will’s Playground, New Richmond, Wisconsin

Homesteads for Hope Community Farm, Rochester, New York

Langton Green, Inc., Community Farm, Annapolis, Maryland

This year’s annual community revitalization grant program was held for the second year in a row and announced this past april. Over 900 applicants submitted their community projects – demonstrating the huge hearts ag communities have for their members.
