Ten students pursuing careers in the beef industry were awarded $1,500 scholarships by the National Cattlemen’s Foundation and recognized during CattleCon.
Scholarship applications are now available for college students involved with the Angus breed helping offset rising tuition costs.
Megan Eckhardt of New Braunfels, Texas, and Jaime Luke of Stanberry, Mo., have been awarded $15,000 schoparships by the National Cattlemen’s Foundation.
The National Cattlemen’s Foundation is accepting applications for its W.D. Farr Scholarships, which will award $15,000 to two graduate students.
The W.D. Farr Scholarship program, was established in 2007, recognizing outstanding grad students who plan to pursue careers furthering the beef industry.
The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation will award more than $30,000 in scholarships to undergraduate students in 2023.
