The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced the signup periods for the Conservation Reserve Program and the CRP Grasslands in 2021.
Farmers and ranchers may apply to enroll grasslands in the Conservation Reserve Program Grasslands signup beginning March 16.
The deadline for agricultural producers to sign up for general CRP is February 28, 2020, while signup for continuous CRP is ongoing.
Starting June 3, FSA will be accepting applications for continuous Conservation Reserve Program signup and will offer extensions for expiring CRP contracts.
USDA announced that effective immediately, emergency grazing use of Conservation Reserve Program acres is approved in Iowa through May 14, 2019.
Farmers have just over a week to get eligible land enrolled in the CRP (Conservation Reserve Program) this year.
