Applications to AgLaunch365 accelerator and boot camps open

Published:

Farming is changing rapidly, but farmers are often left figuring it out on their own. New technologies, however, may be just the ticket in reshaping the agricultural landscape.

AgLaunch365 is a unique, farm-immersive business development experience for startups with a product or service that helps with agricultural production.

Applications for the 2025 AgLaunch365 program are open until Aug. 5. This unique program offers transformative agtech startups in row crop, livestock, and specialty crop agriculture a farm-immersive business development experience to accelerate the time to market.

The accelerator offers three key benefits to participants:

  • Farm-centric programming with facilitators who have deep ag expertise,
  • Farm trials executed and tracked by a team with agronomic, livestock, and data management expertise,
  • Farmer engagement throughout the process.
  • AgLaunch365 is like no other accelerator experience. Early in the process farmers help review, select, trial and invest in new technologies that offer real solutions to some of the most pressing problems in agriculture.

Startups selected to participate in the AgLaunch365 Accelerator focus on product and business development in a multiphase approach over a two-year period.

The experience kicks off with a six-week business development session that includes farmer input and interaction with industry leaders and investors on go-to-market strategy, product development in farm trials, and fundraising.

After the accelerator, startups are ready to implement farm trials with AgLaunch’s Farmer Network and farm-trial platform across five regions that include the Mid-South, Southern Appalachia, the Southern Plains, the Mid-West and Northwest. Startups will be paired with farmers to trial their technologies on-farm, giving them the early ability to test, refine, and retest.

The boot camps comprise two regional in-person events and a virtual option:

  • Cultivate Northwest: Independence, Oregon, May 14-17 (Application Deadline: April 26) This in-person boot camp, conducted in partnership with the Strategic Economic Development Corporation, targets startups in the northwestern states and California
  • Cultivate Appalachia: Knoxville, Tennessee, June 11-14 (Application Deadline: May 17) Conducted in partnership with the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center, this in-person boot camp caters to ag and food startups in Southern Appalachia. However, startups from any location can apply and will be considered.
  • AgLaunch Catalyst: Virtual, June 25-28 (Application Deadline: June 1. This virtual boot camp is designed for early-stage ag and food startups, with preference given to startups outside the Appalachia or Northwest regions.
