Burning abandoned farm house in Kansas is eerily beautiful
Very rarely do farmers and ranchers actually get to accomplish stuff on their honey-do list. However, a while back, Doug and Kelli Armknecht were able to get a little cleanup accomplished on their farm when they chose to burn an old Kansas farm house.
In this eerie but beautiful short video, an abandoned farmhouse is lit up in the Kansas snow and the house goes up in smoke quickly.
Although slightly unusual due to surrounding obstacles, burning an old house can be done for many reasons. In addition to being an eye sore, it can be unsafe to leave them untouched. If left abandoned, it often becomes overtaken by snakes and many other wildlife. Adventurous kids are sure find the house and could end up getting hurt due to wildlife or broken floor boards.
