Farmer Derek spruces up his cattle waterers to make a ‘Moolagio’

It may sound like something out of Vegas, but really this video comes to you from rural Kansas. Farmer Derek Klingenberg built a feedyard and installed fountains and LED lights on each cattle waterer.

Beyond all of the basics needed for a feedyard — like shaping the land, construction of the lagoon, and pouring concrete — but it’s the farmer flourish that Derek provides that makes this project something special — what he calls the Moolagio (a play off the Bellagio casino in Las Vegas). And there was so much added work with nozzle selection, wiring, computer software planning, and more to make it happen!
