· May 11, 2020

The National FFA Officers met Friday with U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue. The conversation focused on topics related to COVID-19 and its affect on American agriculture. The National FFA Officers were each able to ask Secretary Perdue a question that was relevant to their current situation.

Officers were able to ask questions that were near and dear to their hearts. From rural America and how it has been affected by the coronavirus and lack of broadband connection to the current situation at the meat packing plants, the National Officers asked questions affecting the organization as a whole. At the end, Perdue even gave FFA members some words of wisdom and his appreciation for the organization.
