Henry Braun, the mayor of Abbotsford in British Columbia, put out a wonderful agvocacy video for his city, highlighting the technological advances that are part of what modern farming so great.
In the video, Braun explained, “I’ve said this many times: We underestimate the value of agriculture. I can’t overemphasize how much agriculture means to the city of Abbotsford. That means that value-added farming is something we have to look at, because we are competing in a global market. This goes hand-in-hand with science in agriculture.”
