Virginia auger accident woman now a new mom

With so many accidents lately in agriculture news, it’s nice to see this uplifting story from Virginia. Eighteen months after a horrific auger accident that took her hair, scalp, and ears, and nearly her life, Katy Daniel welcomed an 8-pound boy Cash Allen over the weekend. Daniel, otherwise known as #KatyStrong, was working on Mother’s Day 2016 when her hair got caught in the machinery. Both mom and baby are doing well.
