Wisconsin farmer’s nail gun shot to heart story goes viral

Wisconsin farmer Doug Bergeson is back to work on his farm near Peshtigo, after accidentally shooting himself in the heart with a nail gun. The accident happened last month when Bergerson was building a fireplace in his home. Berguson, who didn’t want to be a bother, drove himself the 12 miles to the nearest emergency room with a three and a half inch framing nail stuck in his heart. He’s lost count of how many interviews he has done since the accident, but his story has gone from coast to coast and to places as far away as New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
