Corteva helps to make a magical world record happen

Published:

Of all the things that a person can see at the annual Farm Progress Show, Thursday’s performance was a first.

Magician Scott Tokar was at the Corteva Agriscience tent and completed the world record farthest teleportation illusion — certified by an adjudicator with Guinness as well as by representatives of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Tokar wowed show-goers by transporting his assistant more than 936 feet from the Corteva tent to the Pioneer tent (both tents are part of the DowDuPont family).

Following the successful completion of the illusion, the Guinness representative, Michael Empric, presented the record to Todd Frazier, U.S. marketing leader for Corteva. Tokar repeated the illusion several times during the three-day show.
