ViaSat strives to connect rural America with satellite internet

If you live out in the middle of nowhere, you know your options for Internet access are often limited and extremely slow. That’s why ViaSat has been working diligently to provide rural America with another option — satellite internet.

Formerly known under the brand names Exede and WildBlue, ViaSat is a a global provider of satellite broadband and wireless services, infrastructure, and technology. With 3,000 small town dealers across the United States, the company is committed to servicing rural areas.

We had the opportunity to sit down with Matthew Farr, Director of Marketing Communications, ViaSat at the National Association of Farm Broadcasting Convention to find out more about the company’s new unlimited data plans and faster speeds coming in 2018.
